Well with all the reports in the media and consumer pressure over the past few months we've been seeing some dramatic price pressure on the Canadian car values. Things have already begun to equal out on used vehicles now sold in Canada.
Some cars are already dramatically cheaper in Canada than in the US.
Here is an example:
We currently have in stock (see the above picture) a 2004 Buick Regal LS with 62,000kms on it. Our price is $10,990 CAD. The same car in California at Wally Edgar Chevrolet Buick, with the same option package and very similar mileage, is $13990. That's over 20% cheaper here at Bowman's Auto Sales in Canada.
Another Example:
2004 Chevrolet Cavalier at Bowman's Auto Sales is $7990 CAD. Again the same car in California at John Hall Chevrolet is $12,000. That's 35% cheaper here at Bowman's Auto Sales in Canada.
The message from this is shop around and you'll find that many cars in Canada are better priced than those in the US. Check our website at http://www.bowmanauto.com/ before you look south and remember if we don't have it we can get it.
